We often go into the rain forest to hunt for hermit crabs. The forest floor is covered with them, a moving carpet beneath our feet. In certain areas, the hermit crabs start rolling down the sides of hills. An avalanche of hermit crabs! We collect the ones we think are the fastest and race them against other people for prizes. My crab, Sherman and I have already won a dinner for two!
